The formation of the new Lee's
Summit Downtown Rotary Club
began in November of 2007. Soon
there after the idea of a new
club gained sponsorship from the
Lee's Summit Rotary Club and
Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary Club. In April of 2008 the club was
formally granted its charter
from
Rotary International.
The charter members were made up
of area business professionals
and local Rotary members seeking
an alternative to the morning
and noon club meeting times. |

The Lee's Summit Downtown
Rotary Club enjoys a meeting
time and style that is very
unique and never before
attempted in
District 6040. Our members
meet every Tuesday at 4:30 pm at Mingle's
located at 209 SE Main Street in beautiful
downtown Lee's Summit, Missouri. |

Our club philosophy is focused
on meeting the needs of the
local community and
participating in select worldwide
humanitarian causes. The
membership is made up of a
diverse group of caring
individuals from all walks of
life with a great personal
desire to give back to the
community and world in which
they live.
We welcome you to attend one of
our meetings at your convenience
and look forward to the
opportunity to introduce you to
Rotary and all our efforts
